Thank you for your reply but it doesn't really answer my request, the scan setting that was automatically set up when I downloaded my Trend onto the new laptop was "Smart Scedule" it does a scan everytime i start the computer and it also does auto updates when they are available do I leave the setting as is or set it up to do scheduled scans, the Smart Schedule it is set to scans at the appropriate time depending on my usage I am also up to date with updates, the simple question is do I leave it on "Smart Schedule" or set to another setting
Thanks again for your help

Hello David Cooper!

Thanks for your quick response.

It is actually within your preference if you wish to have the Smart Schedule disabled or have it set to another time through the Scheduled Scan.

I personally prefer leaving the Smart Schedule as it is. With this type of Scheduled Scan, it will only be triggered, or the scan will only start at an appropriate time based on my recent computer usage. This will ensure that I will never miss a scan that the program intends to do and keeping my computer safe from threats.

Hope this helps!
