If there are no conflicting softwares installed on your computer, kindly try restarting the components of Trend Micro program. Here are the steps on how to restart the components of Trend Micro program:
1. Open Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit. 2. On the Diagnostic Toolkit window, click the Uninstall tab. 3. Click Stop all components. 4. Wait for about a minute then click Start all components. 5. Wait for about 3-5 minutes for the components of the Trend Micro program to start.
Please check if you were able to open the Trend Micro program and if it says "Protected" on the main console.
