Thanks for letting us know about this issue! The error message is from a startup program since it shows when you boot up the Windows OS. Please follow the steps below to disable startup programs in Windows 10, and see if the problem resolves.

  1.  Right-click on the Taskbar at the bottom of your screen and select Task Manager.
  2.  Click the Startup tab on Task Manager.
  3.  Right-click on every program and select Disable - except Trend Micro Security
  4.  After disabled all programs, restart the computer and see if the problem resolves.
If the error message doesn't show when all other programs were disabled, we can assume that it was not due to Trend Micro Security. Please only enable 1 program at a time and see what program is calling the registry key.

What should I do now to clear the issue rather than just turning off the start item?

I tried your solution to the HKCU\software\vbwro\bgld script stopped error window and found that disabling the Windows Command Process in Task Manager as TM_Claudia suggested worked in stopping the error window from popping up and interfering with further computer use. Now I want to clear the error so it will not happen again so how do I do that? DYMCW

Hi dymcw, since the error comes from Windows Command Process, I would suggest you try contacting someone on the Microsoft Community forum or Microsoft Chat Support. Their technicians have more knowledge on Windows program to assist you in this case.

Hope that helps!
