Want to use SAFE INSTALL, get a Parse error message

Using an S5 with Marshmallow installed. Just updated to Mobile security 8.2. Downloaded the user manual. Noticed that Pre-Installation Scan goes past Safe Install toScan Memory Card. When I try to turn on I get a Parse error. Is threre a fix?

Based from your query, you cannot enable the Safe Install feature of your Trend Micro Mobile Security on your Android device due to a parse error.

Please be informed that there are numerous reasons why you can get a parse error when you try to install a mobile application on your Android device.

One reason on why you encounter this issue is due to a corrupted or partially downloaded .apk file on the Trend Micro mobile application installer.

Another reason is that a certain mobile device has a default package installer. Its manufacturers configured the entire mobile device to make the device unable to load a third-party package installer for security purposes.

In order for us to check for the root cause and to try to resolve the issue, we could try to reinstall the Trend Micro Mobile Security on your device. Please do take note that you need to uninstall first the installed mobile application completely on your device.

Please be informed that even if you have disabled the Safe Install feature on the mobile application, the security and protection offered by your Trend Micro product is not affected by this one. Hence, your Android device is very much protected from all sorts of known threats.
