Virus protection showing expired and reinstall needed even with over 900 days left on subscription

HI using windows 10 on a hp desktop. Protection working well since August last year but shows today as expired even though account shows over 900 days left on subscription and related device showing protected in online account. Solution was to uninstall and reinstall Trend - VEY ANNOYING and UNNECESSARY!
