Wasn't happy when I found out my computer got a virus last week, had to take it in to get problem fixed. I choose Trend Micro because of the history I have had with them and all of a sudden I get a virus. Cost me a pretty penny to get it taken care of to they had to charge me to reboot Micro 10 and everything. So as of right now I'm wondering after all these years being with you all that you truely can't protect my stuff. Has me worried!!!!!!

my updates run regularly on trend micro, I don't use flash drive, and I really only use the computer for certain practices, and sometimes look up things from time to time. I think I am careful if I don't like a site I will not open it or I only open what are they called- home sites say like target or Walmart amazon if I'm looking for that type of stuff. Emails I only open mail I trust all the spam I delete. So I was mad when I got that virus. I didn't have the number wrote down for tect support before, but I do now, and I see they have a one time fix or try to see if they can fix it without taking it in.....

Hi poppie6350,

You're doing the right precautions. However, just like a healthy person, living healthy, exercising, taking vitamins and getting enough sleep, sometimes get sick too, same goes with computers, possible that it encounters a new variant of a virus that affects the computer. We at Trend Micro make sure that we are not just one step ahead of these viruses, we also make sure that new infections are thoroughly checked. If you can provide me with details about what happened with the computer it would help a lot, so we can further investigate this. For example, what is the behaviour of the virus and how it affects the processes of the computer? Virus name?

Regards,
Kree
