Absolutely useless, Quick Scan running for close to 30 mins has not moved off 0%, The Pay Guard feature does not even work it gives you a red button to say enable Web Protection and does nothing when you click it. Hideously overpriced and functionally void.

Sorry to hear of your experience. Please follow the simple steps below that can help in resolving this issue.

STEP 1: Disable Trend Micro Security
STEP 2: Delete Temporary Files on your computer
  • Press and hold the Windows button and letter "R" on your keyboard, both at the same time to open the Run window.
  • Type: %temp%
  • Doing this will open the Temp folder on your computer. Delete all files inside that folder
  • Note: There are files that can't be deleted as it may be open in other programs. In that case, you may click on Skip.
STEP 3: Try another quick scan
  • Open your Trend Micro program then try to Run another quick scan.
About your problem with Pay Guard, can you tell us more about it? Ideally, you just need to open the desktop shortcut icon. It looks like this:


Just open that icon then it will open up your default web browser. And it looks like this:


Inside the highlighted part is where you enter the website for your online banking so you can safely process any transaction.
