Updater Won't connect

Hello,

The Trend Micro Updater attempts to contact Trend Micro but continually says there is no Internet connection when in fact there is.(or I couldn'tsend this question). Why will the Updater not connect to Trend Micro and update?

Apologies for the inconvenience that you encountered with our program. May I know when did this issue happen and did you do anything before encountering this issue? One possible cause of this issue is the settings of your Internet connection. You can click on this link for you to follow the steps on Options 1-3 to resolve this issue.

"Unable to contact Trend Micro" error message appears on the main console of Trend Micro Security

If the issue still persist you can opt to upgrade to the latest version of the Trend Micro program by clicking on this link.
