I updated the drivers on my computer and it tells me now my computer is not protected. I want to know if it is still on my computer and if I am protected?

If you can not find Trend Micro icon or shortcut on your computer, as Jhja suggests, a reinstall is a good way to reset everything. Here's a support page for your reference:
