Unwanted new ID and password when renewing

When I renewed my Maximum Security subscription, an email included a new customer number and password. I want to know why. Incidentally, the password has not replace the one I had, fortunately.

Welcome to the community!

The password shown on your Order Confirmation Email is used
to track your purchase. It does not reset or change your Trend Micro account
password. The customer number is a reference to that purchase.
