Q1. I recently purchased an update of Trend Micro, and the computer starts up every second or third time with Trend Micro un-installed, and I have to re-install it. This is a real issue!

Q2. How do you scan USB devices using Trend Micro? This is the most common way to infect computers today and Trend Micro has no easy to use tool. Jack the Ripper lived in the boot sector of 3.5" discs. No reason not to do the same in USB device, O look they do! Turn your single USB device into multiple devices with a simple virus. Where is the Trend Micro USB tool to deal with them?

Sorry that you're having problems with Internet Security. For your Q1 auto uninstall problem, this doesn't sound normal so we'll pass your issue to our phone & chat support center, who is equipped with more advanced tools to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Someone from the support center will reach out to you soon.

For your Q2 scan USB devices question, Internet Security is available to scan USB devices, and here's how to do it:
Running a scan using Trend Micro Security software
Please follow the steps in "Performing Custom Scan" & "Performing A Manual Scan" section.

In addition, if you enable your "Real-Time Scan For Compressed Files" feature, it always protects your computer from any threats. (including the threats from USB devices.)

Please let us know if the USB solution works for you. Thanks!
