Uncleanable Trojan, VBS Lock & worm viruses on MacBook

I have a few viruses which have come through Outlook and my question is why are these not cleanable or at least why don't I have an option to quarantine those files. The antivirus only gives me an option to delete same but there is a warning that once deleted, I can't recover my files. Won't this affect the functioning of the Mac or should I not worry because those would normally only affect PCs? Kindly advise

Hi @musa, thanks for trying our new Community!

We have a support article about your Outlook issue that should help you. You have to manually go to the file location and delete those files. The file location is included in the Scan Results of your Antivirus for Mac. Here's for your reference:
Detected threat not deleted by Antivirus for Mac

Per your description, you mentioned, "The antivirus only gives me an option to delete same but there is a warning that once deleted, I can't recover my files." Just want to confirm the "option to delete" message is from your Antivirus for Mac's Scan Results? Or the message is from Quarantine List of Antivirus for Mac?
Viewing logs generated by Antivirus for Mac
Using the Quarantine List of Antivirus for Mac

If it's from Antivirus for Mac's Scan Results (log), the "cannot recovery" message means the detective record will be deleted and cannot be recovery. It will not have any impact to your Mac.

If you have further concerns about the result of your scan or other messages, please provide the following screenshots so we can assist you further:

1. Screenshot of Antivirus for Mac's Scan Results.
2. Quarantine List of Antivirus for Mac.
3. Screenshot of your Antivirus for Mac's "What Scans Should Do". You can refer to the following support page:
Configuring the Scan Settings of your Antivirus for Mac 2017 - refer to "What Are The Options Under The Scan Preferences?"

Please let me know if you have more concerns or questions by replying here. Thank you.
