unable to download update (Mac)

Am trying to download the latest update for Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac (on MacBook Pro, early 2011, running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3). Download progress gets to around 62%, then an error window opens: Unable to download an update. Could not connect to the update server. Check the network connection and try again.

Obviously I'm not the only one who has ever had this problem, but all of the links posted to 'answer' previous posts are apparently now dead. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Trend Micro, and turning off proxy settings for my WiFi. Nothing has worked.

I've got the same problem. Already tried to run the Hotflix installer for Mac but it didn't work either.

There is a newer version of MacOS High Sierra which is version 10.13.6. Please try to update your Mac and then please retry the update for Trend Micro Security.

Please let us know if you will still encounter the same issue after updating your Mac.

We have just deployed a back end fix for this issue. Trend Micro Security should be able to download updates by this time.
