trial version

I have the trial version on my mac. I just paid for it and got my confirm email. Tried downloading it and it said error. My icon still says I need to update and purchase. Do I still need to download new version or is my trial version what I just purchased and thats why it wouldn't download.

When you purchased, you should have been given a code starting with XFEF - or something like that, and you use that to download. If you're just renewing, your old code should be valid for the purchase (I think). Normally when you renew you'll have a period when the previous version is removed before the new one is installed. It sounds as though something has gone awry in that area.
