Every time I work on my software program Trend wants to delete my files. I put the folders into exclusions and it doesn't seem to make any difference. It is very annoying. What can I do?

Hello Patsy and welcome to the Community!

Thank you for letting me know of your concern and apologies for the inconvenience.

For this kind of issue, can you let us know more about this issue? Just answer the questions below:
  • Name of the software that is being blocked or wants to be deleted by Trend Micro
  • Did you add the program in the Exception List or in the Trusted Programs List of the Folder Shield? (If you only added it in the Exception List, you may try to add it in the Trusted Programs list of the Folder Shield, just follow the steps from this article: Using the Folder Shield feature of Trend Micro Security)
  • Please provide us with the screenshot of the pop-up message from Trend Micro so we can identify which specific Trend Micro feature is causing the problem.
We will be waiting for your updates!

PAMI for lawn bowls. There are several versions/folders with slightly different names.
I put the folders and some files in the exclusions not in the folder shield. I will try that.
