Trend Micro saying I must renew, but protection still valid

On my system, Trend Micro says that my protection has expired. However, I renewed my protection several months ago, and when I click "Renew Now' in the desktop shortcut it says I have 219 days left until protection expires. I have also not seen Trend Micro sun any type of routine scan in some time. So, is my protection expired or not?

It is possible that the one registered on the program is expired and you have a license which needs to be activated for it to show the correct expiration date.
