Trend Micro not rating Links - Anyone else have this problem/ a fix

Is anyone else having an issue with the trend micro toolbar not showing the link ratings? I have it set to rate links on mouseover and on web pages. It usually highlights the green checkmark for good, a red x for bad, and a gray ? for not yet looked at. 


I am on a Windows 10 machine (an hp laptop - Model: 15-BS016DX). I have TrendMicro  Version: 12.0.122612.0. I have all the most recent Windows 10 updates on my laptop.


This time it is giving me a symbol with a bunch of curly lines and a gray highlight and this message when I hover over the link/mouse symbol. My wifi is working fine and I did refresh the page. Should I uninstall and re-install the extension? If that doesn't work, what should I do? TIA.

Trend Micro cannot show a rating for this page. If an unstable connection caused this problem, refreshing the page may help

I have the same OS, & never heard of Link Ratings.

Go here to download it. The link to download it will be in the answers to one of the questions. Going here is the only way you can find the extension. Can you go to this:

put it off and Apply, restart your browser (only Firefox, Chrome, and IExplorer)

Then put it on again and restart your browser.

If not put it on in your browser.

Hello, thank you for the advice, but it it automatically fixed itself later without me doing anything. It fixed itself a few hours after I posted this. I will keep this in mind if I have a problem with it later.
