Trend micro (max security) application is not running at the background (windows 10)

i discover that my trend micro application is not running at the background despite me manually starting the app a few times, it seems to not remain running at the background after awhile and i had to restart it again.

How are You?

Maybe a taskbar icon issue? 
Right Click on Task Bar and select TaskBar Options (no english Win in my side so excuse if name are not exactly the same).
Select Task Bar in the screen that appear.

Check at the following image to check icon management. 

If it is OK (Trend Micro is ON), check at Task Manager if the software is still running or not.

If you manually RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR---UPDATE---THEN MINIMIZE, the Trend icon will always be on your toolbar.

As was stated, make sure it is set to "run as administrator" (right click on icon, go to compatibility tab, check run as administrator box). This is different than being the administrator of the computer. A lot of people think that being the computer administrator automatically elevates all the applications to run as administrator, which is not the case.
