Hi @Ron and welcome to the community!

Based on the description, I think you are referring to the User Access Control when you are trying to open up the Trend Micro Installer.Here is a sample image and can you please verify for me if this is what you are seeing when you encountered this concern?



If you are seeing the same image on your end, this is just normal since it is only asking you to grant permission to access the application. If not, I would highly appreciate if you could provide me a screen shot so I can further assist you about this concern.

What happened was that Trend Micro ran the daily security and performance scan and at the end of that it said that there was an improvement it could make to security. I pressed the link for it to make the change but unfortunately I cannot remember what the Trend Micro message was, but it was related to the Internet.

This are the possible changes that may happen:
  • Check Security Vulnerabilities
  • Find ways to reduce startup time and recover disk space
  • Clean up the System Registry
  • Remove web browser cookies and history entries
  • Switch off unused startup programs
  • Remove chat histories and other records from your computer
Then for you to check the results of the PC Health Checkup, you may try follow this steps below:
> Open Trend Micro Main Console.
> Click the Security Report icon.

> Then go to PC Health Checkup tab to check the results.
