Trend Micro Loop

My Trend Micro program is asking me to get updates. I update it and then keep getting the message back that "i need to get updates" as well as I"I need to be connected to the internet"
Whats going on with program should I reinstall??

I was just getting ready to post this same question! It's annoying the heck out of me, it does it all day long! Can someone please help?

Sorry to hear this issue.  We have a support article that addresses this issue. Please give this a try:
"Connect to the Internet" error message appears from Trend Micro Security software

It's quite a few steps to perform, but please do let us know if it solves your error message issue. We'll assist you if you still encounter problems.

Yes I just uninstalled and reinstalled everything is back working. Thing to note that it appears that TrendMicro is off until you reinstall the program so don't wait too long
