Trend Micro leaves old versions of TM on the system after renewal!

Why does Trend Micro leave old versions of TM on the system after renewal! It is a pain in the butt trying to get rid of old versions after a renewal. I keep getting reminders that I need to renew even tho' I have renewed until 30/01/2021. Every other program I use deletes old versions when installing a new one. It is time Trend Micro joined the 20th century!

Apologies for this.

I was able to check your subscription details and confirmed that your license is good until 01/30/2021. May I know if in what device do you see or get this notification that you still needs to renew? I have seen in your subscription that your Windows PC is already using the latest version of your Trend Micro program.

I just like to inform you that once you have installed the latest version of your Trend Micro program, the old version of it will be deleted in the process. If you can provide screenshot or image of the reminders that you are getting would be nice so that we can check and verify it.

I would like you to check as well if the device who receives the notification about renewing is using the correct serial number. For you to check it, you may follow this steps below:

  1. Open Subscription Information window, do either of the following:
    • Using the Trend Micro main console:
      1. Double-click the Trend Micro  shortcut icon on your desktop.
      2. Click your program's expiry date. Click expiry date

    • Using the Trend Micro system tray icon:
      1. Right-click the Trend Micro  icon in your system tray (near the clock).
      2. Click Check Subscription.
  2. You should see the serial number from the Subscription Information: Change your serial number
