Trend Micro is blocking a download from a source I know is safe. How do I tell it to allow downloads from this source?

Hello cltannerga ! Welcome to the community!

We understand that you wish to download from a specific source but the Trend Micro program has been blocking it. Allow me to share some ideas with regard to this matter.

Unfortunately, the program cannot single out a specific source where you can allow the downloads from. If you really wish to download that file from a source that you trust, you must temporarily disable the Trend Micro program as the feature that stops and blocks that download is the Real Time scanning feature. 

This feature makes sure that your system is protected from the background and the reason why the download is being blocked is maybe because of the nature of the file that you are downloading.

Again, if you really wish to download the file, you may proceed with temporarily disabling the Trend Micro program by following the steps on this link.

Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software

Just make sure that you are not doing anything else that may lead your system vulnerable during the times that the protection is disabled.
