Trend Micro is a HOG

Very unhappy with this program hogging my computers operation. Since installing Trend Micro my computer has slowed to a crawl booting up and web browsing takes forever. Password Manager can't be disabled. Trying to stream a Netflix movie is bad.

Do you have details on your configuration, such as CPU, RAM, etc...

First, we need to verify if it is being caused by the Trend Micro program through isolation.

Kindly disable the Trend Micro program then check if the issue still occurs. Then, re-enable it to keep your computer protected. You may refer to the link below. 

Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software

If it the issue still occurs, open your Task Manager. Check the processes if there is a high CPU Usage being caused by the process called CoreServiceShell.exe. Click on the CPU column head to arrange it from highest to lowest usage. If the process I mentioned is at the top, you may refer to the troubleshooting steps provided in the link below.

I have the same issue on all 3 computers in my house. When Trend Micro maximum security is running, Netflix hitches and micro stutters constantly. Closing Maximum security completely resolves the issue.
