Trend Micro Internet Security blocks Chrome.exe when I try and open my browser with Exploit Protection popup.

Browser opens for a split second then is closed by trend and a popup warning of exploit protection comes up form the security console. If I add Chrome to exceptions I can start it and routinely clear cached data and seems to work fine. Full system scan says no issues. However as soon as I remove the exception it blocks the browser again. Same fault on both my PC's (W10 64) with Rapport extension on browser as well.

Thank you for contacting us in our community! For your issue, other customers have encountered the similar issue, and we found that they all installed "Trusteer Rapport" as a conflicting software. It's not advisable to have more than one security program on your computer since it may result in a conflict and the programs may not work properly. Please check if you have an existing Trusteer Rapport or other conflicting software on your computer. If yes, please uninstall the program. Here's a reference doc for the steps:
Programs to remove before installing Trend Micro Security

If the issue still persists,  please provide a picture of the blocking message and your basic PC info(e.g. OS version, 32-bit or 64bit, Chrome version) for us. We'll be glad to assist you. Thanks.

Hi @drauber, thanks for the reply!

First, we have to inform you that PC security programs do not co-exist well, as having more than one security program usually result in a conflict where key security features won't work properly. Since you have a paid version of Trend MicroMaximum Security with features more powerful than the free Trusteer Rapport, we suggest removing Trusteer Rapport and use Trend Micro protection only.

However, if you must install Trusteer Rapport to use SunTrust Banks' online banking, please give the following solution steps a try:
Configuring the Exception List of Trend Micro Security software - refer to "Add programs or folders"

After adding Trusteer Rapport to the Exception List, please check if the problem is solved. Please let us know how it goes. Thanks!
