Help. I have just noticed that my Trend Micro Maximum security has disappeared. There is only a password manager in my apps. On the following path C/program files/Trend micro/ is a folder called TMIDS. There appears to be 230 Mbs of data. I have no icons anywhere.
What should I do?
The web site says to delete old program and install latest version, but I can't find anything to delete.
Cheers
Eric

All good now thanks. Downloaded the latest version and is running OK. It would appear that I have been running without Trend Micro protection since November! Could a windows 10 update have disabled it?

-I'm not a Trend Micro representative, but I like to give you some suggestion-

Hello Eaphim,
in my opinion, but I'm not a Trend Micro technician, your TM product was running properly but TM icon on taskbar was gone. May be after the Fall update?
TM will not disappears from your PC for any reason, no reason to be concerned! :)

Be safe with Trend Micro, ciao

It disappeared. No icons, not in the apps list, not available to be deleted, no executable files in the TM folder. TM folder was 230Mb, after re-installing it was 990Gb. Windows defender didn't list it. Something removed it and it wasn't me!

Hi eaphim,

You may run the Trend Micro Remnant File Remover: Using the Trend Micro Remnant File Remover Tool

After that, delete the Trend Micro files on your computer then try to reinstall it again.

Nick
