Trend Maximum does not complete updating

I have bought a new license for Trend Maximum security for 2017 and keyed in the code about 3 weeks ago but up to today it was showing last updated some date in December 2016. Now I have uninstalled McAfee which seemed to be giving clashing problems (I never installed it it just happened!!). Now trend is indefinitely updating and if I try to open the console all I see is a large disk like logo. And widows prompts me not to shut down while update is running (for last 2 hours!!!)

For install any AV must first uninstall any AV and Security software installed in Device .

- Remove McAfee 

- reset system

- install and register Trend Micro Maximum Security 

for now remove Trend micro and McAfee . reset system and try install Trend Micro .

For your issue, as Amir mentioned, could you please double check the list in the following online doc to make sure conflict software are all removed? I understand you've done this check already, and that our competitor products have been removed, but sometimes software in the "Others" list might still be present on your PC. It's a long list, so it'll take some time to cross check.
