Trend Max. Security Blocking Paperport

As part of my business I scan paperwork using Paperport. I just downloaded my new annual sub. of Trend Max. Sec. and now it is blocking my scanned paperwork. I clicked trust this program and nothing happens - oh it takes me to another screen where I click unblock and then nothing happens. In the meantime it has made my image freeze and causes paperport to become unresponsive. When I close out and start over I end up going through the same process. How do I disable this blocking of my useful programs??? Help before I lose my job.

There may also be another feature of the Trend Micro program that may cause some blocking on a program to access some files on your PC. This feature is the Folder Shield. This feature blocks access and modifications on files on the PC to the program that did not create the file being accessed.

For example, there is a Microsoft Word file that is being accessed by a different program, Folder Shield may block this program to modify or access the Microsoft Word file. To know more about Folder Shield, please visit the link below:
