Trend keeps popping up unprotected. Will not stayi siigned in and says restart computer. Have done te it but not help

We understand that you have been prompted by the Trend Micro program that you were not protected and that it has asked you to do a restart. Allow me to help you with this.

This issue might be caused by a program that is conflicting with your Trend Micro Program. May we know if you have installed any programs in the past few days? Also, may we know if you have installed any other Antivirus programs aside from the Trend Micro Program currently installed?

Also, this could be caused by a Malware infection right before you have installed the Trend Micro Program. To have this checked, kindly run the ATTK (Anti-Threat Toolkit) from our Support Site. See this link for the details.

Using the Trend Micro Anti-Threat Toolkit 

Just proceed to the Clean Infected Computers portion to do the scanning.

If there is no infection or no any unwanted programs on your computer, consider doing a clean reinstall the of the Trend Micro program to make sure that the existing one on your computer is not corrupted due to failed updates.

To do the clean reinstall, you can uninstall the Trend Micro Program by running this tool.

Once the uninstall is done, download the latest version of the program on this link:
