Trend keeps logging genieo on my iMac, but the response shows ignored. How do I remove this adware?

Title says it all. I've tried quarantining with TrendMicro, but it keeps ignoring, which I don't understand. Also tried Malwarebytes, it says I'm clean. Any Ideas?

Please try to manually remove the Genieo by tracing the location of the program on your Mac. Refer from the scan result about the exact location of the file and run full scan after the manual removal of the threat. Do note that the components of Trend Micro will not work properly if there are other security software on the same machine. In order to optimize the performance of Trend Micro, you also need to uninstall any third party security software on your Mac.
