My system has slowed way down after the last update as well and this is a nice PC but I cant play any games on it right now. Looking at my Task Manager Trend is eating up 80% of my disk usage, something isn't right
Such as: Norton 360 (all version), McAfee SiteAdvisor, AVG Anti-Malware etc.
Also, the slow performance could be due to background internet traffic from programs that you've installed unknowingly. These programs, commonly called potentially unwanted applications (PUA), are typically bundled with other freeware, and installed as an option most people do not uncheck during installation. Please try the following online solution doc to check and remove any PUAs on your computer: Uninstalling Potentially Unwanted Application (PUA)
Some common PUAs are: SlimCleaner Plus, Pokki Start Menu, Inbox Toolbar, MySearch, Coupon Printer for Windows, Image Resizer for Windows, and many others.
After the above steps, if you are not using the latest version of Maximum Security (ver. 11.0), we would like to suggest that you reinstall Trend Micro Security to the latest version to reset the program and patterns.
