Trend has frozen my laptop. I'm still using Windows 8.1

Trend has frozen my laptop. Hourglass is on continually and it has the Trend symbol that it is scanning my laptop and it's been like that for the last 5 hours. I have had to press the off/on power button to turn off the laptop about 6 times now and I'm using my Samsung tablet to communicate this. I have been away for 3 weeks and turned on laptop and continual problems

Step 1. download the Uninstall Tool from this page and perform it.

Step 2. download the Remnant File Remover Tool from this page and perform it.

Step 3. download Trend Micro Premium Security from this page and install it.
