Trend hang up

Have just installed Trend update. Now I can't run U-Tube videos. There seems to be a delay on everything. Keeps asking to recover web page but doesn't get any better.

Have you already tried disabling Trend Micro if that would help?

I uninstalled it and problem went away. then had no security so reinstalled it. Sub pages like this one also have dificulty

email also hangs up switching from one email to another.

What web browser are you using when watching Youtube videos? 
What email client are you using as well? 

It would be nice if you can provide more detailed information about the issue so we can give the best solution to you.

Another workaround that we can try is to disable the User Mode Hooking and check if the issue will be gone or not. Follow the steps below: 
1. Press Windows + R keys on your keyboard at the same time. 
2. On the Run command window, type supporttool.exe
3. Go to Threats tab and put a check on the box for Pause User Mode Hooking 
4. Try to use or access Youtube again to check if the issue persists. 
Note: Do not forget to remove the check for the Pause User Mode Hookinoption after isolating the issue.

Edge and Webmail. Yes problem went away when I did that.

Thank you for updating us regarding this one. Since it is Microsoft Edge and it is a webmail that is probably being accessed with the use of the Microsoft Edge web browser as well, would you mind performing this procedure?

1. Open Trend Micro console.
2. Go to “About the Software”.
3. Click on “Component Versions” and scroll down to Patterns.
4. Check if Program Inspection Core Pattern (tmumh.ptn) is updated to the latest one (version: 261027). 

If it’s not up-to-date, please trigger update manually and confirm if already received the latest component version.
