Trend for iMac wont scan after installing on iMac Mojave. Tried reinstalling but still won't work please help.

No... it just wont scan when I click the scan now button when I open the Trend Micro Anti-virus icon

Hi mestelle777,

Please follow these instructions.
  1. Download the Trend Micro installer package. Click here to download.
  2. Open the installer package the open the User Support folder.
  3. Open the Trend Micro Antivirus Diagnostic Toolkit. Click on Uninstall
  4. Wait until the Uninstall process is completed
  5. Reinstall Trend Micro Security.
Let us know if you will still encounter the same issue after doing the steps.

Thank you for your advice...I did that and it still does not scan. It attempts to scan from the top right hand side bar but it does not scan any files and it does not not stop.

Sorry to hear about this.
In case the issue still persists after reinstalling. Would it be okay if we will escalate the case to our Senior Engineer for them to remotely access your computer and check on this issue.
