Trend Blocking Android Studio ADB from running

I have Android Studio 2.1.3 installed on my Windows 7 machine. Trend Micro Internet Security 10, out of nowhere, started blocking the adb daemon from running, resulting in the "Unable to obtain result of 'adb version' error in Android Studio. The only solution is to disable Trend Micro when using Android Studio in order for adb to run properly. I have the directory for Android Studio and the Android SDK in the exclusion list for Trend but the problem persists. How can I resolve the issue without turning trend off every time I use Android Studio?

Thank you for informing this issue. Regarding your description, I understand although you've added the program to the exception list already, the problem continues. Could you follow the steps in support page below to use the Registry Editor to create a White List for Android Studio. Here's a reference doc for the steps:
Trend Micro Security keeps on detecting files or programs that are already added to the Exception List

C:\Program Files\Android\Android Studio
C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Android\sdk

If you are still seeing the "Unable to obtain result of 'adb version'" error,  please confirm your SDK location and provide a description or picture of the error message, and we'll assist you further. Thanks.
