TM on Samsung Note 8 - causing gallery to automatically refresh

I was having an problem with my Samsung phone where the gallery was refreshing every 3 seconds...including intermittent on side panel, adding new contact & history window.
I nailed the issue down to having both the 4g and wifi on whilst not actually being connected to a Wi-Fi.
I began unistalling 3rd party apps just to make sure it wasn't the phone itself.
After unistalling Trend Micro (TM)... the problem was gone. Checked my wife's phone who had TM also intalled and she had the same problem. I reinstalled TM on my phone and the problem was back. Checked all the settings and identified that it was the TM Wi-Fi checker that was causing this problem. I've switched this setting 'off' for now as its really annoying having some screens refreshing automatically - constantly.

On a side note - All other TM app features fanatic.

We really appreciate you bring this to our attention and we're sorry if you are having this issue.

We already release a fix for this kind of issue about a day ago. what you need to do is try to reinstall again the program and make sure that the version of the Trend Micro Mobile Security is 9.2.1.1301.

To check the version.
1. Go to Menu.
2. Tap on Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap on About.

If the issue persist please do reply back.

For the Wi-Fi Checker of the Trend Micro Mobile Security, there will be a pop up whenever the phone has detected an open Wi-Fi that is not trusted. For other information about the Wi-Fi Checker feater you can refer to the link below.
