TM Maximum Security software disappeared from all of my laptops!

My TM Maximum Security software disappeared from all my devices - including one that hadn't been used. I am only halfway through a 2yr subscription. I only found out because my MS notifications said I was unprotected. How does that happen!?  My Account simply said I needed to upgrade to latest version. Not good enough TM! Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi sophie.blue, 

I find this strange. As long as the program is running on the latest version on your computer, it should stay on, unless there are changes or activities on your computer that disabled the program (e.g. no internet connection that disables program updates, etc.). Can you please check of the program is still installed on your computer? Here's how: 
  1. Press the Windows key plus R on your keyboard. 
  2. On the Run window that appears, type 'appwiz.cpl'.
  3. Press Enter. 
  4. Look for Trend Micro Maximum Security. 
If the program is still there, please open the Trend Micro main console from your desktop and check its status (i.e. Protected or Protection Disabled). Otherwise, please reinstall the program. Here's a step-by-step guide:
