Hi I keep getting this as a threat every few minutes and I don't know how to stop it showing up.
I think it has something to do with Java.
Threat: TROJ_GENZM.F299E00G117  file is JRE Update.jar
Threat: AppData\Roaming\JRE Update\JRE Update.jar
When I go to the folder to delete it it says it is open and to close it.
Do I really need to worry about it? If I do how do I stop it? Thanks

Hi turnbull.glengyle!

Thank you for contacting us in the community.

How are you today? I hope you are doing very much fine.

Based from your problem description, you were getting a continuous threat detection for TROJ_GENZM.F299E00G117 and you were unable to delete it since the file is opened in the background of your computer.

In order to successfully delete the detected file, you will need first to check your Task Manager for processes that is affiliated with Java or about JRE Update.

You will need to cancel this process on the Processes tab of your Task Manager.

To cancel this process, please follow the steps below.

1. Right-click the specific process on the Processes tab.
2. Click End Task to force stop the process.

After that, you may be able to delete the detected from its path location.

I hope this will solve the issue.

Thank you and have a great day! :)
