Think my computer has a virus or something, but Trend scans aren't catching it.

Quite frequently, about once a day, my browser pops open, when I'm not even on the internet, and then a subsequent popup window warns me that I must update windows.  I can see typos, and I know it's not legit.  Here's the link that it was on:  https://d2uxk9hx7liq8z.cloudfront.net/v13dy-semi/indexip-noen.html?osv=Windows%2010&trk=t.v3trac...

Hi kwkanne,

Would it be okay to provide us the screenshot of the pop up Windows that you're receiving? Can you also provide the name of the browser or programs that it opens?

Awaiting for your response.

Good morning.  Symptom has reappeared, slightly different clothing.  This time it claimed to be McAfee, and that my subscription had expired.  Hovering over the "renew now" link appeared clickable, but did not reveal the url.  I've captured the link that I landed on, and a grab of the screen, but I don't see a way to attach it to this board.  Please let me know how to proceed.    Thank you, Karl

Hi kwkanne! I'll send you an email where you can have the instruction on how you are going to send us the link.

Thanks,
