Hello stanangpuldw,

We're sorry to hear of your experience. First things first, please make sure that you are already running the latest version of Trend Micro Security. Our latest version is version 15.0. If you aren't on this version yet, you may follow the steps to upgrade here: Upgrading Trend Micro Security software to the latest version

If you are already using the latest version of Trend Micro Security, please follow the steps below:

1. Disable Trend Micro Security. To do that, click on the Trend Micro system tray icon then click on Exit. For other options to disable it, click here. Wait until the Trend Micro icon on your system tray disappears.
2. Press and hold the Windows button and letter R on your keyboard both at the same time to open the Run program
2. Once the Run program is open, type: services.msc
4. Press OK.
5. Once the Services Windows is open, look for Platinum Host Service. Check if this process is on Automatic. If it's not, double click then change it to Automatic.
