System get stuck on executing Trend Micro Anti Malware Solution Platform

Sometimes my pc get stuck while executing Anti Malware Solution Platform on background. This process requires a great deal of resources (35% of my 3GHz CPU - Intel I5 that, with RAM and Disk operation as well, sitting on top of the process list 'consumption' in task manager) and I cannot run other applications but only wait. The worst thing is that you aren't asked whether to run this hungry process and it cannot apparently be stopped in any way (even killing the process in task manager has no effect) and this is very bad: sometimes you need urgently to run applications or send email or browse the internet and you can't. Have you suggestions? Thanks.

Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused. The high CPU consumption issue happens due to conflicting software, malware infection or remnants of your old Trend Micro program, and we have a support article that addresses this issue. 

Please follow the steps in support page below to see if the problem can be solved:

If the problem persists after your tried above solution, please provide the basic PC information and a screenshot of the Processes tab of Task Manger when you're encountering this issue. I'll be glad to assist you further.
