After a recent update , now have two dif prompts to 'uninstall' trend micro on my pc... one for uninstall trend micro internet security, where it prompts to 'remove application,' with a large red x prompt, and another for uninstalling trend micro trouble shooting tools, then says uninstall- for trend micro air support remover -- these seem highly suspicious, both with large red x icon next to them... what is going on? there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of them, when they prompt, i click on the no button, but don't know how to remove them altogether. just did a scan by opening up my trend micro program, it said no viruses... thanks for getting back.. Do they show in the top of the Start Menu?  If so not a big deal, they are part of the program group for recently install items.  Right click them and you will get the context menu and can select to remove from list.

Hi @tmbtobin and welcome to the community!

Apologies for the late response.

We recently deployed an upgrade notification to the latest version to all the customers that are still using the old version of the Trend Micro program. This might be the pop-up that you got from your PC. You may still provide us the screenshot of the message that you're getting so that we can also make sure that that is a legitimate notice.

We'll be waiting for your response!

Thank you and have a great day! :)
