I'm thankful that Trend Micro was able to be successfully installed after 4th install program run. Perhaps there would be a better way to have the software program unpackaged once in a destination directory so that errors or conflicts could be resolved when found during an install. Then after the conflict is resolved that requires a reboot, the customer does not need to unpackage the software from the executable file again. I age significantly when waiting on an already slow PC (no thanks to former s/w program) to unpackage new software repeatedly before starting the weekend. The program seemed to run through on the 3rd install, but did not show an icon for the Internet security program that I had purchased, only a Troubleshooter. My only thought after doing some searching and thinking was to install from the same program file again. It finally worked on the fourth install attempt and now I see the computer as one of the protected devices in my account.
