stuck at 35% on worm_agent.sps

For several months, my Windows10 computer has been hanging, stopping any Quick Scan at 35%, always when scanning for Trojan horse programs - WORM_AGENT.SPS

I have completely removed Trend... and reinstalled...    I get the exact same behavior.  This started in 2018Jul02... and is still happening in 2018Sep04.     I have done a search on-line, and many people have experienced this same exact issue... but Trend has posted no solutions.  It is disappointing.  I use Trend across 20 of my business's computers... and it is time to review and shop for something, some company, that performs better.

The postings I see are useless, with partial solutions, impossible to follow transcripts of conversations... and are as unclear as any instructions could get.

Has there been some management or support change at Trend?  I have been using Trend Micro products exclusively for over a decade - it didnt used to be like this.
