Hi elk!

May I know how did you uninstall the program? Kindly refer to the link below and follow the third option: Using the Installer file.

Once removed, click the link below to download the installer.

We would appreciate an update from you regarding this matter. Thank you!

Hello, I previously uninstalled the program using the function in the Diagnostic toolkit, and re-installed it using a fresh download from the link provided in this thread. (I have two Macs.)

So in the last few minutes, I just uninstalled the program on my other Mac using the instructions for the Installer file. I also re-installed using a fresh download.

The results are the same. This is still not showing as a 64-bit program. In fact, the Macs new warning message popped up immediately after install.

No, the link did not resolve the issue. The link simply provides an explanation of Trend Micro's future plans for the product. As I understand it, it's a future product release that will solve the issue.

Hi! Elk!

The Trend Micro Antivirus For Mac is already a 64bit version. Please try to check the link again and see the steps on what to do if you are receiving the message.

Thank you!

Actually, I believe that is the main confusion here. Trend Micro Antivirus for Mac is not a 64-bit program, at least not yet. That is what prompted this entire chain of correspondence.

As the text in the solution article link says: "Trend Micro will release a version of Antivirus for Mac that is compatible with the next version of macOS before it is released to ensure that you have continuous protection for your Mac."

As of now, that release hasn't been made public yet. The current version is 8.0.3045. I am running the latest version. It is a 32-bit program.

My sincerest apologies for the misinformation elk, this is an error in my end. The version compatible will be available in Fall of 2018 and we shall let you know once available.

My apologies again and thank you!
