start up trendmicro

So, usually i startup my PC trend micro starts up, but i have been realising it hasnt been happening lately, so i went to open the program and it shows the usual trend micro program, then it quits not showing the console. I would need some Help cause it never happened before also, it doesnt sit down in the tray.

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers.
I think a fresh install will help.
Can you uninstall first or is that not working.
Then install again.
Hope this does the trick.

There are several reasons why the Trend Micro program failed to start up automatically.

May we know if you are using another Antivirus program aside from the Trend Micro program installed on your computer? If yes, kindly remove those programs as they may conflict with the processes and resources that the protection is utilizing.

Also, may we know if you have noticed any prompts that the Trend Micro program will be automatically upgraded? If yes, there are chances that this automatic upgrade has failed to  install the latest version (2018, Version 12) on your computer. This can be related with your Internet connection or an interrupted download of the said program version.

Furthermore, like our friend Tom said, we can try to manually reinstall the Program by following these steps.

Run the remnant file remover to remove conflicting Trend Micro files and Uninstall the Old Trend Micro program

Then Install the latest version of Trend Micro on your computer by clicking this link

hi guys, i have found the problem i just had to force uninstall from the trend micro diagnostic tool kit, and i had to reinstall and that was really the only way that i got it working again. Thanks for the reply too :D
