See Title.
Would be nice if this doesn't happen or have a detection at least.
I don't mind turning off Trend Micro Security every time, but it's still an additional step.

Hello Schiwata and thank you for posting here.

May I know how do you disable the Trend Micro program? You can try to go to the Diagnostic toolkit also of the Trend Micro program and disable it from there. Here is a link for you to see, you can click on For Windows PC and then Option 2: Turn off Trend Micro Using Diagnostic Toolkit.

Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software

In addition, did you receive any notification to upgrade your Trend Micro program to the latest version? If not you can upgrade your program to the latest version so that you can use a new feature that we added for gamers. It is called Mute Mode, wherein the Trend Micro program will not interfere with your games. Here is the link for you to first upgrade your Trend Micro program to the latest version and the 2nd link for you to configure Mute Mode.

Using the Mute Mode feature of Trend Micro Security

I hope this helps with your concern, we will wait for your reply.

Thank you and have a great week!

Wich games?
May happens that some of these have their main directory in a folder protected with Folder Shield?

I don't have problems using games on mine, and I have really a lot of! :)

Did you receive pop up for Trend blocking that games?
If not, maybe is not Trend the 'issue'.

@Max
No Pop-Up. That's why it took me some time before I realized it's the Antivirus.
To be fair it's just not Trend Micro blocking it. Lurking around, I found out major competitors somehow disrupt the game too.

The game is Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. There are others of course.

@Justin
Just exit from system tray. Stop components same effect. So yeah I'm not protected when playing games. But I'm playing games so that's the only activity, doesn't matter unless the game itself is the one infected.
