Slow start up

About 45 min since starting my computer, Trend Micro is still chewing up 50 to 70% of disk resources. It has already been identified by one of my major application vendors as the primary reason my computer is being throttled. Tell me how and when you are going to change the process so that it grabs what it needs and then gets out of my way till the 30 to 60 min after switchon period when there is a lull and it can get on with its background stuff, or better still, slot small tasks into the gaps in what I am doing. As my vendor said to me, whats the point of being protected from (unlikely) viruses (especially when you know the risky things NOT to do) when your computer is so slow, you cant use it!
++ Its now been 2 1⁄2 hours and Trend is still chewing up 70%. This is well beyond a joke.

Hi michael!

So sorry to hear that. We have actually created a hotfix for that already. You can download it from this link:

Slow PC performance due to high CPU or memory usage of CoreServiceShell.exe

Hope this helps.
