Sites blocked after moving to Win 10.

Since moving to Windows 10 I keep getting sites blocked. The Trend Micro tells me the page is unsafe but what it is referencing is a js file in the header of the page I'm viewing. It's even doing this to sites that I've built! This is not fun. How do I fix this?

Sorry to know that you are experiencing this issue and we are still in the process of checking the root cause of this problem.

For the meantime, add the site on Exception List by following this KB link.  After which, check the site using the Global Site Safety.  If the site is rated Untested or Dangerous then submit it for reclassification.

Let us know what the outcome is so we can further help you.

Thank you TM_LoidaS,  Adding them to the exceptions worked.  I know the site is good since I'm the one who built it.  :D

Well darn.  It worked for the site I built but it's not working for How to Geek.    www.howtogeek.com

I added that to my exception list but it's still coming up with the blocking error.    It's weird because it's not the actual page it's blocking but a javascript file in the header of the page.

@winginsue Sorry we did not reply back earlier. The JavaScript blocking warning that you're getting is related to a false positive detection in Trend Micro Security. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing, and are already working on a fix that should be available before end of June.

We will update you in this post once the fix is deployed to our customers.

Official Response
Sorry for taking some time to fix the JavaScript blocking issue. We were informed by our product development team that the fix of this issue is included in the latest pattern file. Please follow the steps below to apply the update:

  1. Remove related URLs from the Exception List. (if you've added them to the Exception List)
  2. Right-click on the Trend Micro system tray icon.
  3. Click Check for Program Updates, then The About Your Software windows will appear and will automatically check for available updates.

After update completed, please verify all websites which had blocking issues and please do let us know if the solution works for you.

Thank you.
