Should I renew TM? hmmm!

my laptop recently acted very strange. I performed Trend Micro scan, then system recovery. Still there. Hired local service and discovered that I had a trojan virus! Service guy ran a Malwarebytes scan and found the virus. my updated Trend Micro did not solve the issue. I now question Trend M. that I have used for several years.

Your Trend Microprogram runs on a real time basis as you use your computer but we need toconsider the infections caused by thousands of new threats created every day. New threats cannotbe detected until we have gathered enough samples for analysis. Then we willinclude the fix through the updates. That is why your Trend Micro releasesupdates in every 3 hours so that your computer will receive the latestdetection pattern.

There are severalways on how the computer gets infected with even though you have a Trend Microprogram. It could be from email attachments from unknown senders or fromwebsites that opens your computer to a higher risk of getting viruses as someof these sites host malicious software.

To prevent themalware to come in on your computer, always ensure your software is up-to-date,your operating system is fully updated and we need to be careful online as mostmalware exploit these vulnerabilities to attack your computer.

Upon checking as well, it appears that the Trend Micro program installed on your LANOVA-PC and ACER-PC is still outdated. I highly recommend you to upgrade it to have full protection on these machines. Here's the link for your reference:
