security scan not operating

Hi percivaljohn85 and welcome to the community!

Can you give us more details as to how the scan is not working? When you click on it, nothing happens or does it stop at a certain percentage?

For now, please follow the steps below.

1.      Open Start Menu then type Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.

2.      Check if 2. Finish Collecting Data under Debug tab is enabled and click it if it is.

3.      Still on Diagnostic Toolkit, click on Uninstall tab. Then click 5. Stop all components.

4.      Wait for at least a minute then try opening the Trend Micro program and try running a scan.
